The Role Bogandillan Pastoral Co. is a large-scale, well-established 4th-generation family-owned property and business, situated along the Billabong Creek in the Southern Riverina. They are looking for someone to grow with the business for the long term This is a senior, trusted position that offers a motivated and experienced individual the opportunity to work closely with management and assist in the day-to-day planning and operations of the farm. This role offers the potential to progress to an Assistant Manager position for the right candidate. Your key responsibilities will include: Operating and maintaining modern cropping machinery across 4,000ha of Wheat, Canola, and Legumes; Assisting with the planning and coordination of both daily and seasonal tasks; Chemical handling and spraying (training and upskilling are fully supported); Livestock work, including sheep handling and husbandry for 1,300 Merino ewes joined to terminal sires. You will also be required to supervise and work alongside others as needed, handle general farm maintenance, and be proactive in problem-solving on the go. This role is suited to someone who enjoys taking initiative and responsibility. The Ideal Candidate We are seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic professional with strong organisational skills, ready for a senior role that requires responsibility, initiative, and the ability to work independently. A minimum of 5 years' experience in broadacre farming or a similar industry. Proven experience operating and maintaining modern cropping equipment. Some experience with safe chemical handling is preferred (training can be supported). Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and manage tasks. A positive, enthusiastic, and team-oriented attitude. Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to think on the go. A genuine desire to learn and grow within the role and with the business.
